California’s size means there’s no single answer to “is this climate right for a Bernedoodle” – a dog that thrives in the coastal fog around San Diego handles heat very differently than one placed inland near Sacramento or in the Central Valley, where summer regularly clears 100°F. Bernedoodles carry more of the Bernese’s coat density
